Our partner school in Madrid is situated in a historic building in the heart of the city, in immediate vicinity of the most interesting points of the city, such as Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real.

The modern classrooms have a friendly atmosphere and excellent technical equipment, both of which are essential for achieving effective learning.

The library, with its newspapers, magazines, books and computers offering free internet access, is the favourite meeting place of all the students who use it to study, read and relax.

Even after the lessons are over, the school is still full of life as we organize various activities on our premises such as talks on regional or contemporary topics, film shows, art exhibitions, cooking workshops, etc.

Our committed team consists of qualified native speakers who have considerable experience in working with foreign students. They know how to pass on their motivation and their enthusiasm to their pupils, which enables the latter to immerse themselves in the Spanish language and culture in a cordial and creative atmosphere.


We provide an airport-pick up service, which costs 55 EUR / person. The connections to and from the airport are very good and you can easily travel by yourself.

By subway: Trains run daily from 6:00 till 1:30 every 7 minutes. Take Line 8 (pink) until Nuevos Ministerios. Then Line 10 (dark blue) until Tribunal and finnaly change to Line 1 (light blue) to Sol. From here it is one minute walking distance to the school.

By bus: This bus leaves the airport daily from 7:00 till 22:00 and departs every 10 minutes from the terminals T1, T2 and T3 to the city centre. Last stop is Plaza de Colón. From this station, there is a metro connection with line 4 (brown) to Bilbao, where you have to change to line 1 (light blue) direction Congosto. Get off at Sol, from where it is one minute walk to the school.

Leisure Time

Our objective is to bring you closer to the Spanish language and culture so that you will improve your linguistic knowledge through direct contact with the country and its people.

To this effect we combine the communicative teaching method with a broad cultural programme, a formula in which we believe both parts should have an equal importance.

Our cultural events - such as our literature workshops, slide shows, museum visits and many excursions - are organized in such a way that you will plunge into the most varied aspects of Spanish culture and automatically use and improve your language skills.

In Madrid:

  • Guided walk in the heart of the city on the first day of your course
  • Thematic city walks, e.g. Madrid of the Habsburgs, legends of the old Madrid, the Retiro Park
  • Convents and palaces
  • Visits to exhibitions and museums (Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen)
  • Theatre, concert, dance events
  • Madrid’s nightlife with its bars and cafés
  • Visits to local companies
  • Public holiday programme on days without lessons, e.g. to see Easter processions or city festivals

In the school:

  • Wine-tasting

  • Literature workshop: discussing works of Spanish and Latin American writers

Outside Madrid:

  • Whole day excursions (Sat. or Sun.) to Toledo, Segovia, Alcalá de Henares, etc.
  • Weekend excursions to Salamanca, Sevilla, Extremadura, etc.
  • Guided walks in the mountains of the Sierra de Madrid
  • Cycling and horse riding trips

The teachers will accompany you and guide you in all workshops, on excursions and other events. Most activities will be prepared and followed-up.

Many of the above mentioned events are included in the course price. Extra payment is required only for wine-tasting, cooking workshops, entry fees and excursions.
